Why do we struggle through life with what seems to be little instruction or mentorship in how to live our day-to-day lives? There is so much pain; it makes life hard to get through. It is sad how often we, intentionally or unintentionally, hurt others or allow others to hurt us.
The goal of this book is to help bring understanding to why time together—whether at work, in life, through relationships, or during activities—can seem so hard. In addition, this book will help bring understanding to what our responsibilities are in our daily lives, what is out of our control, and how we are to respond to both.
Regardless of what denomination we hold to, what belief system we follow, or what worldview we have developed through our life experiences, the principles for better relationships covered in this book are relevant to every one of us. With so much untapped help and guidance available to us, there is no reason to continue going through life hurting or being hurt. These principles do take work and perseverance, but when they are followed, the value of what we receive from them is worth more than the effort required.
